NDIS Update & Zest Care Support

Our team continues to deliver all services across Plan Management, Support Coordination and Direct Supports to help you achieve your goals during these unprecedented times. We have communicated within our community of clients, their families, referring partners, support workers and staff regarding our response to COVID-19 and we are taking every measure possible to ensure we continue to deliver our services without disruption.
 
We have and will continue to give our support workers updated training and ensure they maintain appropriate hygiene and safety protocols when carrying out their work. Our team are issuing PPE equipment across our workforce as and when it becomes available.
 
Across all our locations, office-based staff are operating in a remote work environment and we have been undertaking on-going virtual sessions with clients to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone.
 
For us to continue to successfully meet our client’s needs, the NDIA has helped providers by temporarily increasing price limits by 10 per cent for the following critical supports:
 
- Assistance with Daily Life (not including Supported Independent Living)
- Assistance with Social and Community Participation
- Improved Health and Wellbeing (not including personal training)
- Improved Daily Living Skills
 
These changes have been implemented and will last for six months. The NDIA will review this change in three months to assess if the changes continue to be appropriate.
 
You aren’t required to do anything. Zest will continue to claim under the current line item as they have been updated by the NDIA. The support catalogue available identifies the line items that are subject to the 10 per cent increase.
 
Additionally, participant plans are being automatically extended to ensure you continue to have access to funding.
