Information on the COVID-19 vaccine program
The Department of Health has officially rolled-out the COVID-19 vaccination program.
Australia’s COVID-19 vaccines will become available in phases. The first doses will be allocated to priority groups who are at greater risk of contracting the virus.
The government has developed the COVID-19 vaccine eligibility checker to help you determine in which phase you will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
The Australian Government will provide further information about how vaccines will roll out over the coming months. We still recommend applying COVIDSafe methods by:
1. Practising good hygiene
2. Maintaining physical distance
3. Staying home if you are sick
4. Getting tested if you have any symptoms
5. Downloading the COVIDSafe app
