In The Spotlight – Amy Alexander

Danielle Lawson In The Spotlight

For our ‘In The Spotlight’ piece for June, we will be meeting Amy, our Operations Consultant who works closely with families and Participants to ensure the best possible matches are made.

What is your job role?

“I work with families that access In-Home Child Care as well as NDIS Participants and their families along with Educarers and Support Workers. A large part of my role is to match families and Participants with Educarers and Support Workers who can best support their needs and assist them in reaching their desired outcomes.”

What do you love about your job?

“I love knowing that through my hard work I am able to assist children, families and participants to reach their goals and help their day run a little smoother. My favourite part of my job is hearing the positive feedback from families and Educarers, or Participants and Support Workers on how well they have been matched and that they are receiving the assistance they require to achieve their goals.”

“It is also great to hear the passion that our Educarers and Support Workers have for helping others.”

How long have you worked with Zest Care?

“I have worked with Zest Care for around nine months. I first started as an Educarer, then began working in Operations around three months ago.”
