In The Spotlight – Roisin Graham

Danielle Lawson In The Spotlight

For our ‘In The Spotlight’ piece this month, we will be meeting Roisin, our Crisis Support Co-Ordinator.

What is your job role?

My job title is Crisis Support Co-Ordinator which sits within the Family Services team. My role involves being the interface for any urgent cases from our referrers in relation to children who are at immediate risk f neglect, harm or abuse. I liaise with Family and Community Services and referral agencies everyday regarding new and existing families, as well as working in conjunction with all teams within the Zest Care office in order to meet the objectives of my role.

What do you love about your job?

I love that I am in a newly created role and I have the opportunity to shape and grow this department with the support of my colleagues. I also love that my role helps to facilitate our Crisis Support Workers who have a direct impact on making a positive difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children in NSW.

How long have you worked with Zest Care?

I previously worked as an In-Home Educarer and started this role in June 2016. I have been working in my current role as the Crisis Support Co-Ordinator in July 2017.

Your message for the team

What we all do matters, even if it’s only making a small difference to one child at a time.
